The Marie Curie Research and Training Network "Molecular Universe" offers positions for PhD students (Early Stage Researchers) and for Post doctoral Fellows (Experienced Researchers).   • Categories:
    • Early Stage Researcher (PhD-student) have less than 4 years work experience after the diploma that gives access to doctoral studies (eg., masters or equivalent) in the country in which it was obtained.
    • Experienced Researcher (Post-doc) must possess 4 to 10 years of work experience after the diploma that gives access to doctoral studies (eg., masters or equivalent) in the country in which it was obtained. Researchers with a PhD are automatically Experienced Researchers.

  • Conditions of applicability: According to the rules of the European Commission certain conditions on the nationality of the researcher, the location of the host research organization, and the requirement that they move country to take up their appointment have to be met simultaneously. This includes that researchers must be nationals of a state other than that of the host organisation. Moreover, at the start of their fellowship/activity, researchers may not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc) in the country of their host organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the start date. Short stays such as holidays are not taken into account. Appointments are open to nationals from member states and associated states. A limited number of appointments of third countries can be accommodated if they are essential to the project.   • Salaries: The Early Stage Researcher/Experienced Researcher will be paid a salary that is the one usually given to students/postdocs in the appointing institute. These amounts thus depend on the place of appointment. Furthermore, there will be an allowance for travel between the place of origin and the host institution of the researcher, a mobility allowance to cover supplementary expenses linked to the family situation of the researcher, as well as a career exploratory allowance for researcher selected for stays of at least one year.
